How do I sharpen an "antique" reel mower?

Don't bother sharpening the blades. What cuts the gr is the blade pushing the gr against the resistance blade. Use a slight angle on the edge away from the blade so that the point of the sharpened edge is against the reel. I hope this makes sense. Good Luck! I have mowed a lot of gr with one of these reel mowers when I was a kid.
