Im 12, and every yr my family and i go to switzerland to visit my moms family. but this yr my dad and one of my sisters cant come. I got TERRIFIED of death, i couldent sleep, i barely ate, i cried all day, and was depressed. I'm turning into a loner?

I'm 14 years old in highschool. Im using yahoo answers as my only way to communicate with people about my problem. Well in primary school I had lots of friends, like I was popular and I loved it. But when I got to highschool, slot of my friends left to other schools and stuff. But anyway, in year 7 I was left with 3 friends, I now have a bond with them but during the Christmas holidays, something changed. When i got into year 8, the 2 of the 3 remaining friends have their own group of people and stuff. When I tried to fit in they say "piss off no one likes you" and I get very depressed. My last friend is a bit of a nerd but I still keep him around. But even he is starting to leave me. This will definitely happen in the near future. I have tried talking to people and stuff but it's no use. I'm looking for a quiet spot with no one in it to hang around, so I can listen to music and wait for recess to Finnish. Everyday is like hell. My mum says you should go too a friends house but I have no friends!!! And I don't want to tell her about my problems because I will get embaressed. Good containers for home-made baby food?

I've just recently started making my own home-made baby food. I'm 100% against anything in a jar, or formula cause of the things that are going on with stuff killing babys and stuff like that. So I decided to make my own baby food. My main question is does any one have any recommendations on some good containers to store my baby food in the freezer? I found a few containers online but I thought maybe there was a decent ziplock container. Why is the ammonia level so high in my betta tank?

i have a 2.5 gallon tank with a male crowntail betta and 4 ghost shrimp. It has a tetra heater maintaining the temp at 78F and a hagen elite mini filter. The tank is fairly new, i've only had it for a week now but i've had my betta fish for almost a year. I switched him from a 1 gallon tank to the 2.5 gallon without cycling - i know, stupid of me, but i didn't know better at the time - when setting up the new tank, i used the old gravel plus some new gravel which i rinsed until the water ran clean, and i used all the water from the old tank and added some tap water treated with water conditioner. The filter was added a couple days later hoping to culture some bacteria when i found out that i was supposed to allow the tank to cycle. I purchased "Cycle" a product by hagen that is supposed to rapdily cycle the tank and used the first dosage 2 days ago. My fish, shrimp and plants are all healthy and seem to be normal but when i tested the water for ammonia it read pretty high. I've tested the water with 2 different kit and got the same results. Following the testing, i did partial water changes to help reduce the ammonia levels but nothing has helped. What's wrong with my tank? What should i do?

My mother blames me for her marriage falling apart. What should I do?

The story starts about ten years ago when my parents got a divorce. My mother wound up cheating on my father. She believed her new boyfriend would give her everything that she ever wanted such as a home in Hawaii and that she would never have to work again. She blamed it on my father drinking which was bull because he rarely drank. After my father moved out, her boyfriend moved in right away and she found out that he was not as rich as she thought he was. Soon thereafter, they broke up. She later met someone that made a very decent wage and they were to be married two years after dating. After she got married to the man that she is married to now, my mother and I fell further and further apart unlike the relationship between her and my older sister and younger brother. She forced me to support myself starting at the age of fifteen. I had a full time job and was also going to high school. I paid my own bills and never received any istance from her unlike my brother and sister who never worked and failed to maintain decent grades in school. My mother and I never talked after I realized that if I decided to quit working and focus solely on school, she would never help me regardless of the 200 a week my father was giving her in child support just for me. Later on I decided that I couldn't take it and I finally moved in with my father. Things were great with him and we still have a wonderful relationship. I moved back in with my mother a year later so that I could be closer to my friends. I started college and landed an amazing job. At that point I was looking for my own apartment and I thought things were going very well. My mother and I still weren't on speaking terms but we could tolerate each other. My job then started to go south, I was only working one day a week, trying to find another job and trying to stay in school so I could get my degree. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to pay for my bills so I asked my mother for some istance while things were a little rough for me. Her facial expression looked like I had tried to kill her. At that time she was still receiving child support for me. So from then on I decided that I needed to stay away from her while she worked on her own problems. I started living with friends a few nights a week and seldom went to her house. One night when I had to stay there because I had to work the next day after getting back to the house from work, I decided to thank her by cleaning the entire house. She came home and I asked her if she noticed how wonderful the house looked. She snapped back and said, "did you ever realize that I have been supporting you?" I didn't say a word and I left. It was two months until I talked to her again (this last Christmas). My boyfriend and I went to Christmas at her house and she hardly spoke to me. It felt like I was some homeless person that wasn't supposed to be there. She has a beautiful relationship with my brother and sister, laughing and joking around the entire time. When she looked at me, she seemed disappointed. After that, I moved into my fathers house again. A few days ago my boyfriend got a job roughly an hour away and very close to my mothers house. After he got off of work, we went to my mothers house and we asked her if we could catch up on some sleep before we had to start another big day. She gladly agreed and set us up in one of the spare rooms. We woke up and she and her husband were gone. We waited to leave because I wanted to say bye before we left. She came back, her husband went upstairs and she told me that she wanted to talk. The first thing she said was, "You are never allowed to stay here again, you are ruining my marriage." What is a good cruiser style motorcycle for a beginner?

You need to stay under 500cc sizes for your first bike. A 750 Shadow is pretty bulky when you top it with 3.8 gallons of fuel. Gasoline weighs 6.5 pounds per gallon. That's a bit much for a beginner. Look for a cheap small bike and learn the basics, THEN look for a larger ccruiser. Look at the Harley Sportster L series. I think they look good and definitly have a name. After that? I ride a 2008 750 Shadow Aero.

My husband was a contractor in the construction business and had an accident where a crowbar hit him in his face, resulting in broken teeth and damaged jaw bone. He also had a hereditary dental disease that was not taken care of when it should have been and is, with the combination of the crowbar hit, in quite a bit of pain from his teeth. This situation has impacted him psychologically as well, as it would with anyone. My husband also seems to get sick more frequently now, we ume because of the condition of his teeth. My husband lost his job, and he is under an enormous amount of stress and grinds his teeth incessantly at night. We cannot afford to fix this right now but it needs fixed because it is getting worse and it terrible in so many ways. I have called the local universities but they are backed up for months. Local outreach type programs are as well. No one seems to care.........wish someone out there would........

What am I doing wrong?

You probably should increase your calories a little, although calorie restriction has many more benefits than we once thought. I know this because I am 6'1",177 pounds and live on 1600 calories a day with plenty of energy to run 6 miles a day. You have to experiment and find what your body wants. Eliminating the refined carbs was an awesome step. Now just broaden a little more and eliminate ALL processed foods. Eat only real foods and drink nothing but water.

Why do I get attached this easily and what is the point anyway?

When I start dating a guy and want to have a relationship because we seem to have se much in common, why does he suddenly say he just wants ...then what was the purpose of getting to know each other and gettin gmy feelings involved if he just wanted to have fun for a night? And then when I find out that he just wants , I say no and that I won't do it unless I am in a relationship and we agree to be friends but usually, for him this means that he has a few more opportunities to rephrase his request. At this point, I break up with him or start ignoring him and he got really jealous about me hanging out. Why would he get jealous if he doesn't want me? ALso, why do I feel heartbroken after I break it off because he just wanted (its not like I really had him in the first place)?

Bottling my emotions up?

So, my grandpa has cancer, anc doctors say he only has a few days to live. While my family is bursting out in tears, and upset, I feel emotionless. I'm trying to obsess about other important things trying to block it all out. Usually i tell people not to bottle up their emotions, but this time it's me. I feel saddened about my grandpa, and regret not spending more time with him. When will I let it all out? Why can't I just let it all go?

How do you overcome a food addiction?

I hate to admit it, but I think I have an addiction to unhealthy foods.... I used to be appropriately thin for my height of 5'6 and my bone structure weighing 140 lbs. I worked out really hard to be that way, but I did it. Then in October of 2008 I got pregnant, hemorrhaged at 14 weeks and almost lost my son, so I was put on bed rest for the duration of the pregnancy. Needless to say I gained about 50 lbs, and a year and a half later im all but 5 lbs lighter. Recently I've gotten off my a$$ and been working out. Since the summer actually. I started out with light exercise for a month, increased it again and again doing low-impact aerobics. for the past month ive been doing an hour of kickboxing 6 days a week, but all this time no weight has come off. it must be my diet. i just cant stop eating! ive got 2 kids so ive got a ton of kid food that im always munching on. we order pizza at least once a week, eat out another day. i try to cook healthy, but either i epic fail the dinner or no one wants to eat it. ill try, eat turkey for lunch or a bowl of special k, but my dinner all i can think about is that chocolate pudding in the fridge or that can of pringles and before i even realize it ive downed half a bag of dove chocolate. i don't know how to stop! its like my brain just shuts out the willpower department and sabotages all my efforts. please give me some way to conquer this! any advice? im so sick of being fat. i just want to fit into my old clothes again!

I love how the answers on this site raise more questions. To start, I was raised Christian (my family celebrated christmas and easter) and consider myself one still. Last night I read an answer on here that caused me to do a little research (that lasted pretty much all night). I always knew that Muslims believed that Jesus was a good teacher but not mush else. I just learned that it goes FAR beyond that. Islam considers him as a prophet AND a messenger (I learned that there is a difference in Islam as well). The part that amazed me the most is that Muslims believe in the immaculate conception, the fact that he was raised to paradise, and here is the most amazing part, he will return! The prophet Mohamed (sorry if I spelled that wrong) even said he will return in syria! All of this agrees so closely to the Christian faith its is fascinating! However here is my question... Knowing all of this (both religions believe), why is Mohamed (again, sorry) looked upon with a higher reverence and held higher in the Muslim faith than Christ? If Mohamed himself said that it would be Christ who returns wouldn't that mean that God (Allah) puts more responsibility and trust in Jesus? Please do not take offense at my ignorance of this, I am just now finding all this out and truly looking for answers.

Okay so I am having problems with my youngest son. I cant compare this to my oldest because our life was in turmoil at that stage in his life and my middle son has always been a good sleeper. so my youngest son has been sleeping in his crib on his own since he was 6 weeks old minus feeding times or when i just wanted to hold him at that age. he is now just about 17 months old. He refuses to just go to sleep has to have a bottle, yes i know that's not good. he uses a sippy during the day its just at night or nap times when he needs his bottle. So my question. For just over a week now he has decided that he does not want to go to sleep on his own in his crib with his bottle. he wants someone to lay down with him on their bed snuggle him close and wait until he falls asleep. Then if you put him in his crib he will sleep there for maybe an hour if your lucky. but will sleep good if you leave him were he is. I have tried to just let him cry for anywhere from 10 mins to half an hour. it doesn't work. he is not sick. he is not cold he is fully clothed. he is full when he lays down. so im kinda at a loss. any suggestions?

Two and half months before I made a routine check up and my fast blood sugar level became 176. My BP was 160/110. I reduced weight drastically i.e 11 KGs and it is now consistently 120/80. I took BP tablets for 8 days and stopped it by Doc advice. A re-check of FBS the next day, it became 165. I had another one on the 5th day and it became144. The Doc said, "you can control this by diet". I started taking diabetic diet and it is now consistently below 95. And yet I am disturbed for I am not sure whether or not I am a diabetic. Am I diabetic? If I am a diabetic, how could it go so low within a week time? It had even gone as low as 59 and 60 in two of the tests. It was 95 only once and I had eaten pizza the previous night. Is it a pre-diabetes or a diabetes case? Is it wise to start taking medicine at present? should I consult more than one Docs? I am at a loss. Could I have dyslexia?

I have to use my hands to tell left from right, I don't know north east south and west, I dont even know the order it goes in, I have terrible handwriting and I grip my pencil tightly which causes my hand to cramp,when i read the page turns different colors and I see stuff on the page, i will change words around in my head, i write letters backwards a lot, I cant do word problems, they dont make sense to me, when I read my textbooks I cant understand the text, I have trouble understanding what people say, I sometimes have a lot of trouble speaking (A lot lately) I misspell a lot of words, i read words wrong a lot, i have trouble copying words off a board or something, i write capitol letters sometime when they are not supposed to be there, i space weirdly, i cnt keep my words on the lines of paper, i will write words twice,i have a poor sense of direction, im easily confused,sometimes when i walk i will get confused because i will put one foot out twice or my stepping will be off, dancing does not make any sense to me at all, i cant type like schools want us to, i will forget which letter is which and which or where a letter is which,i dont no which month is which number like what number is 9 or what number july is, i confuse days of the week, i dont know which month has 30 days or 31 days, i have a hard time reading a clock, i have to count it, when reading sheet music i have to start from middle c and i will have to start over and over again cause i will confuse myself, i cant count ahead ith time, i have the messiest bedroom ever, not really but i cant eep it cleen, im really good at math but do i have dyslexia? Should I tell my dad im having all these problems? What do i do?

I find these depositions in front of Congress, i.e. "Spygate", confusing. Isn't this something that should be taking place in a courtroom, in front of a judge, under the judicial process? Congresspeople do not necessarily have backgrounds as lawyers or judges. Are those testifying before Congress always granted immunity from incriminating themselves (short of lying)?

I can see how politics can make one sick. It is good to stay a of what our elected officials are doing though. Just tell your friend the truth. Do you think that if are society every got to the point where are resources became extremely limited because of overpopulation would are government put a limit on childbirth like in china or make it so only certain individuals could have kids? I was just wondering because the human race is no doubtingly growing and people are living longer than they had in the past. I believe that if we don't all kill each other off first, and no asteroid destroys us, and by some miracle global warming doesn't put an end to the race of man, I would speculate that overpopulation would get us. We already consume more than we need and people are readily using up the resources that are needed to sustain human activity. The one thing about relationships is that if you want to get noticed, you need to do something about it. It's probably hypocritical of me because I'm suffering from an emotional abusive relationship but this is my knowledge from my past. Figure out his interests. The key is to make friends with him first and show him something unique about yourself amongst all the other girls he's dated. Catch his interest. I am 13 years old. i guess you could say I am quite pretty, but I do stay really really depressed. For some reason, I hate myself pionately. I don't have any friends, and my family hates me. Every time I try to tell them about my depression, they call me selfish. I've tried to kill myself many times, but I always have hope that my life will get better. I have severe aniexty, and I always have headaches, chest pains, and no energy. I feel useless in this world, and I don't fit in anywhere. Every one at schools calls me an emo or a tramp. All I want is to be accepted and to find someone who understands. I don't like who I am at all. My life has been hard, my mom and dad disowned me and their on drugs, and I live with my gma. My gpa who was like my bestest friend and my dad, died a year ago. My gma calls me selfish, annoying, and a bad person. Like she or no one else understands. And I've always been worried that if I keep suffering from this, that I will be addicted to drugs or alcohol, and I already smoke, I don't want to be like my mom or dad. Just please, anyone help me. YouTube account suspended?

I signed in to YouTube and said they received a complaint and told me to remove any copyright material but i cant because i get into my account. I upload a 10 second clip from a show and nailed me for it the very next day. I see hundreds of thousands of uploaded videos of entire shows, movies, music videos or songs and nothing ever happens to those users. I don't think an exert of something shouldn't count. I feel i'm being singled out when every other user has at least one kind of uploaded material that is not their own. The real infuriating part is that i have not caused any problems in the community and feel YouTube takes things too extreme when completely unnecessary and don't bother to make any efforts to deal with any issues on the user side and practically ignore them. It would be one thing to punish someone that has been abusive and received numerous complaints but not someone that minded their Ps and Qs and have not received any other issues with that person. I'm saying there should be at least one pardon and it shouldn't even difficult on their part to confirm that this was just a one time incident.

My 7 yr old dog eats her poop and the Cats poop, why?

Now I've done plenty of research as to why dogs eat feces. It could be stress, mental disorder to hide their "product", malnutrition, or a learned behavior. Now My 7 year old chihuahuawill go into the cats litter box and eat their poop. This scares me because I don't want her ingesting any poop really and the kitty litter. She doesn't do it all the time because she knows its not a good thing so she stopped eating her poop, she used to when she was using the litter (paper litter for dogs). Now she uses a puppy pad and she doesn't eat her poo any more. But I've noticed when me and my husband are not looking ( but paying attention) she will go inside the litter box and start fishing for poopies. I do not get it. I think she thinks it tastes good maybe because its so pungent. Can anyone yze this to where I can understand my dog and why she eats poo for fun?
